Surah Al-Ikhlas was the answer: a description built entirely around Allah's oneness and total difference from creation, rather than any comparison to human or created things.

One of the most well-known and authentically documented facts about this surah comes from a hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari. A companion of the Prophet used to lead his community in prayer and would always end his recitation with Surah Al-Ikhlas. When this was reported to the Prophet, he asked the man why, and the man replied that he loved it. The Prophet responded that his love for it would admit him to Paradise, and in a related, authentically graded narration, described the surah as equal to a third of the Qur'an. Scholars explain this in terms of content rather than length: the Qur'an's teachings are broadly grouped into matters of belief (tawhid), law and practice, and stories or history, and Surah Al-Ikhlas captures the entirety of the first of these three categories in just four verses.
